How to Love People

Happy new month friends. It’s August already. Thank God for life and good health. And trust your week was great.

Today I want to share something on how to love people.

I know the subject of love is a popular one. Everyone of us talks about it. And come to think of it, it’s because of how important love is.

Love is important in our family, in our relationships, in our place of work…everywhere!

When we love people, people are attracted to us. They want to be nice to us and be our friends.

In my experience, I see people appreciate it when they feel loved. They want to open up and share their moments with you.

And, that for me is a good sign that people are willing to receive and appreciate love from whoever is giving it to them.

When we love people, we also forgive. We overlook their shortcomings and weaknesses, while we focus on their strength and good side. This is not in a way to condone what is not good, but in a way to allow them to grow and do better.

Quite importantly, everyone of us wants to feel loved and desired. We don’t want to be around people who don’t love us or appreciate us. So, love is so needed in our world, and it’s important we share it.

But how do we love people?

Loving people starts from our heart, and it manifests in our acts.

When we see people good, we appreciate them and value them. We can’t love people who we don’t appreciate or value. Love is a seed that grows gradually in our heart.

So, loving people is a process. It takes time!

If you want to grow in love, keep focusing on what you can do at the moment. Love is expressed by giving.

So, if it is your time you can give, give. If it is your resources you can give, give. If it is your smile you can give, give.

All that will go a long way and really express who you are.

So, I encourage you dear friends, to start with something, and let people around you feel the love and kindness in your heart. God bless you.
