MY TESTIMONY

They say life starts at 40, so I hope we all agree that I am now 22, with 62years experience. I am grateful to God that I have the opportunity to witness yet another year in the fullness of his grace, compassion of his mercy, and fulfillment of his promises. Today, I'll talk about some of my many experiences so far, how grace found and sustained me, my story may not be as popular as that of batman, superman, or even Cristiano Ronaldo, but my story is unique, and full of grace. I will also relate it with the topics we have talked about this month, as I have found purpose, dreamed, and I am manifesting. 

It hasn't been a bed of roses, many waters have passed under the bridge, tons of water swallowed by the earth, but I am still here, if not for God, where would I be. I have endured a lot of hard times, experienced the death of my mother, father, husband and some other loved ones, but I've grown through all that I went through. Above all life, is full of surprises, disappointments, failures, but life is also full of good times, love, successes, and purpose. At this age, I have chosen to prioritise the positive things of life, though this choice isn't a matter of age, anyone can make this choice.

I have chosen to leave the past behind and focus on everything that is before me, I am intentional about enjoying my future, instead of suffering from my past. Stage by stage I have seen what God has done with my life, even in moments that I didn't comprehend what he's doing, I have always aligned with his plans. I have discovered that my purpose in life is to live a life that pleases God, developing myself, so I can develop others, living an impactful life. My trials have helped me to put my focus on God, as I have mostly been through situations that are beyond human intervention, and it has only been God that constantly comforts me. I am a Victor today because of the challenges that I have been through, I am grateful for all of these challenges, and I have learnt to accept whatever challenges as an opportunity to grow and be victorious. I also believe God took me through this journey to be a living testimony to you, and I feel fulfilled every moment I write you. 

In the process of healing from my losses, I discovered purpose, I started sharing my story and writing books, it was then I discovered that there were lots of people like me who had no one to talk to, or no one to listen to them, a lot of people who carries the burden of pain alone, and most of them are sent to early graves for these reasons, this was the point that I realised that God had taken me through all these experiences, just so I can be a solution to so many problems. I started reaching out to people who were in need, adopted orphans and trained them in school, share relief materials to widows, especially during festive, and help a lot of people find purpose. I came to understand that I might not have done this much if not for the fact that I have first hand experience of the pain, rejection, and loneliness of this phase of life. 

My journey became easier when I started making things easier for others, I found comfort in seeing smile on faces that I found sad, and hope in the lives of people that I met hopeless, and I've since realised this as one of my purpose in life, and I have continued to manifest. The amazing thing about living a purposeful life is that you do not need to experience losses or pains before being a solution to problems, you might as well be averting the losses and pains by doing just that. I have experienced a better life since I started this new journey of self discovery, purpose, and manifestation, and I pray that you find yours too. 

I celebrate myself today, above all, the faithfulness of God, and everyone who have been part of this journey, including you my dear friend. May God continue to make the journey easy for us, may we continue to count blessings, and age in the grace of the most high God. I have found peace in bringing pieces together, I have been made whole by helping the broken, I have been found by seeking those who are lost, and I have found life by helping others live. This is my testimony, I hope to read yours soon.
