WHEN FAITH BECOMES ACTION

Image
Happy Palm Sunday my dear friend, I'm so excited to write you today, especially when I'm talking about faith. Faith is not just what we say, it is what we do. Many people believe, many people pray, many people speak good words, but true faith goes beyond that. It shows in the choices we make every day. The truth is, faith that stays in the heart but never moves into action will remain a wish. As it is written in James 2:17, faith without works is dead. If we truly believe, then our lives must reflect it. There was a time in my life when faith was all I felt I had. After I lost my husband, I kept telling myself that things would be fine. I believed it, I prayed it, I held on to it. But reality does not respond to belief alone. I had to move. I had to step into responsibilities I never planned for, make decisions I was not ready for, and show up every single day even when I felt weak. That was the moment I understood that faith is not just comfort, it is commitment. Most times, t...

OBEDIENCE OVER COMFORT

Image
Happy new week my dear friend, it's amazing how far we have come this month, I find it important that we talk about something crucial today. Obedience is not always easy, in fact most times it comes with a cost. There are moments when doing the right thing means walking away from what feels good, what feels familiar, and even what feels safe. Following God is not just about words or intentions, it is about choices. And those choices will sometimes demand that you let go of comfort, habits, and even certain relationships that stand in the way of your purpose. I have come this far not by chance, but through obedience and discipline. There were days I had to deny myself, stay consistent, and choose what was right over what was easy. It did not always feel good in the moment, but it built something stronger in me. It shaped my direction, and it kept me grounded when distractions tried to pull me off course. Looking back, I regret the few times I insisted on doing things my own way. Tho...

TESTIMONY BEYOND THE PULPIT

Image
Happy new week my dear friend, and happy mother's day to all women all over the world. I'm so excited to write you today, taking about testimony. Sometimes we think testimonies belong only in church, behind a microphone, or in front of a congregation. But the truth is that a testimony is simply a story of what God has done in your life. The way He lifts you, restores you, and guides you through moments you thought would destroy you can become a light for someone else. Revelation 12:11 reminds us that people overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. That means your story carries power, even when it is shared quietly. There was a time in my life when I felt completely lost. I believed that redemption was far from me, and that some doors had closed forever. It is a lonely place to be, hopeless and filled with uncertainty. But something changed when I refused to give up. Little by little, God began to redirect my steps, reminding me that His plans are ...

IDENTITY COMES FROM GOD, NOT MAN

Image
One of the greatest struggles many people face is the search for identity. People often look to society, friends, family, or achievements to define who they are. When identity is rooted in the opinions of others, it becomes unstable because human approval changes quickly. The Bible teaches that our true identity must come from God, the One who created us and understands our purpose. When God defines who we are, our value no longer depends on popularity, success, or the shifting opinions of people. A powerful example of this truth is found in the life of David. When the prophet Samuel came to anoint the next king of Israel in 1 Samuel, even David’s own father did not consider him important enough to be presented. His older brothers looked stronger and more qualified in the eyes of men. Yet God told Samuel, “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” While others saw only a shepherd boy, God saw a future king. David’s identity did not come from his famil...
