WHEN FAITH BECOMES ACTION
Happy Palm Sunday my dear friend, I'm so excited to write you today, especially when I'm talking about faith. Faith is not just what we say, it is what we do. Many people believe, many people pray, many people speak good words, but true faith goes beyond that. It shows in the choices we make every day. The truth is, faith that stays in the heart but never moves into action will remain a wish. As it is written in James 2:17, faith without works is dead. If we truly believe, then our lives must reflect it.
There was a time in my life when faith was all I felt I had. After I lost my husband, I kept telling myself that things would be fine. I believed it, I prayed it, I held on to it. But reality does not respond to belief alone. I had to move. I had to step into responsibilities I never planned for, make decisions I was not ready for, and show up every single day even when I felt weak. That was the moment I understood that faith is not just comfort, it is commitment.
Most times, the gap between faith and manifestation is action. We wait for things to happen while holding on to belief, but God often waits for us to move. Just like Hebrews 11 reminds us, those who had faith also acted on it. They moved, they built, they obeyed, even when they did not see the full picture. Faith does not eliminate fear, it gives you the strength to act in spite of it.
So the question is not just what do you believe, but what are you doing about what you believe. Faith must be seen, not just spoken. It must reflect in your discipline, your courage, and your willingness to move forward. Because at the end of the day, faith that works is the faith that moves.
