POVERTY IS A THING OF THE MIND
Happy new week my dear friend, I hope you picked few things from my last message, and I hope you'll pick from today's message too. Poverty isn’t always about empty pockets often, it’s about an empty perspective. The lack of knowledge is one of the first silent killers of potential. A man who doesn’t know better cannot do better. Many are not poor because they lack opportunity, but because they lack the understanding to recognize or maximize one. When your mind is starved of new information, you settle for survival instead of striving for significance. It’s not what you don’t have that limits you, it’s what you don’t know.
Time, they say, waits for no one, but for the poor in mindset, time is either wasted or ignored. A person’s attitude towards time determines their altitude in life. While some treat every second as a seed, others treat hours like ash, casually blown away without value. Poverty reigns where time is misused. The wealth of the rich isn't just in currency; it's in how they use time investing it in growth, discipline, and vision. But the poor-minded chase pleasure and delay purpose, never realizing time itself is the most expensive currency.
Positivity, too, is a currency of the mind. A negative thinker builds invisible walls around his possibilities. He sees every challenge as a curse and every opportunity as a scam. The poor in spirit are easily defeated before the battle even begins. Without a resilient and hopeful mindset, even the best effort looks like a waste. Meanwhile, the truly rich, not just in cash but in character, understand that failure is part of the process and that every setback can shape a stronger comeback.
Effort is only as effective as the engine behind it the mind. You can work hard with the wrong mindset and still experience poverty. The truth is, many are working, some are even sweating, but very few are thinking. It is the mindset that gives meaning to motion. If your mind is poor, your effort will be blind. Poverty begins in the mind long before it shows up in your bank account. Change your thinking, and you’ve already changed your future.
Do not forget comment and share with your friends and loved ones, have a lovely and productive week. May the joy of the lord never depart from us, see you next week.
Time waits for no man! l agree with the writer because there a time and season for everything! When you are suppose to work , save and invest, some decides to squander of pleasures of life, material things such as latest car ,women to name a few. Instead of investing..the poverty mentality …l want people to know l have arrived!! Well by the time one realize that time has gone..one start to plan ,where can l get money fast? Maybe steal ,kill or destroy someone to inherit what someone else has worked for? But God cannot be mocked because he created everyone in his own image. He gave us all a talent. The task, is for us to find that talent within ourselves. So, our life goal/s ,achievements are fulfilled and satisfying..May God help us to use our God’s given talent wisely inj
