EXPERIENCING GOD

Happy new week my dear friend, most importantly, happy mother's day. Being a mother is the most sacrificial responsibility in this world, we can never overlook the impact of mothers, I join the rest of the world to celebrate every mother. I'm happy to write you again this week, and I hope you are blessed by today's message. I had an experience recently, I went on a fishing trip with my friends, I became sea sick, while I was gathering myself together, I observed how massive the ocean was, it became bigger as we advanced, as we could no longer see the banks, then I began to assume a lot, but the most interesting thought was about the creator, I begin to think about how lucky I am to be a daughter to someone who created all of these mighty things. It wasn't my first time on a ship or boat, but the experience was different this time, I was humbled to experience God. I took time to appreciate him for calling me his friend, child, and that despite all his mighty creations, he is always with me, ensuring that I have a wonderful life, just as he does for you, and all of us.

Experiencing God is something that happens everyday of our life, but we do not pay attention to these things, mostly until the situations are beyond us, just as in Psalms 32:6 RSV "Therefore let every one who is godly offer prayer to thee;at a time of distress, in the rush of great waters, they shall not reach him." most of us only recognise the mightiness of God only in distress, and it makes us feel like this is the only time we experience God, because these are the only moment we are truly connected to him, because we really need him, forgetting that he's always connected to us. When we start paying attention to the littlest things of life, we begin to understand how important these things are, and how lucky we've been to have them.

You need to connect more with your creator, there are some kind of experiences that needs activation, it has been predestined by the creator, but your connection, and input is needed to activate it. When jesus went to teach in capernaum, and met that lame man, the moment he commanded him to rise up and walk, if the lame man wasn't connected, and didn't attempt to rise, the experience would have been different. This means our level of connection with God, determines the kind of experiences we would have.

Sometimes, the connection starts with simple gratitude and acknowledgment. Just like I found myself overwhelmed by the vastness of the ocean, you can also pause and look around at the wonders in your own life, the air you breathe, the people you love, the opportunities that come your way, even the challenges that shape you. These are not coincidences; they are daily reminders that the Creator is involved in every detail. When you consciously recognize these little blessings, your heart becomes more open, and your spirit becomes more aligned with God’s purpose for you. That’s when the extraordinary starts to unfold from what used to feel ordinary.

Beloved friend, never forget that your journey is personal with God. No two experiences are the same because God reveals Himself to each of us in ways that are uniquely tailored to our lives. As you deepen your connection, you'll begin to notice that even your trials carry hidden treasures, and your victories will taste sweeter because you know they are divinely orchestrated. So, nurture this relationship intentionally through prayer, reflection, and paying attention, because the more you lean in, the more He reveals Himself to you in powerful and beautiful ways.

In conclusion, I encourage you this week to be more deliberate about experiencing God in every situation. Don't wait for the storms or the great waters before you recognize His presence. He is with you in the calm and in the chaos, in the small and in the mighty. Stay connected, stay thankful, and stay expectant, because your Creator delights in walking this journey with you. And as always, I am praying with you and for you, that this week will be filled with divine encounters that will strengthen your faith and brighten your path, I also pray for those looking onto God for the fruit of the womb, God will answer your prayers, and this time next year, you'll also be celebrated. Remember to comment and share with your family and friends.
