THE GRAVITY OF GRATITUDE
Hello, my dear reader,
It gladdens my heart to know that we both made it through 2024, and here we are in a new year, despite all the challenges of last year. In 2024, I was able to share a lot with you, and I hope to share even more in 2025. However, it’s important that we reflect on 2024 and prepare ourselves for the experiences of this New Year. Today, I will be talking about The Gravity of Gratitude. Join me.
Let me begin by reminding you of the story of a certain man. This man lost his family, livestock, wealth, and health, yet he maintained faith and gratitude to God. He kept declaring God’s supremacy and continued thanking Him for His faithfulness, even through many challenges. His name is Job, and because of the gravity of his gratitude, God restored and blessed him in unimaginable folds.
I know you went through a lot in 2024, but you must also acknowledge that God did even more for you. The very fact that you can read this message today means God has blessed you beyond reproach and still has hope in you.
Take a few minutes to appreciate God’s faithfulness. Show gratitude for the free air you breathe. Just imagine if the air you’re breathing was to be charged per cylinder at any hospital, how many cylinders could you afford? Could you have afforded to live through 2024? Could you have been able to gather resources to achieve the things you count as little?
There are so many things to be grateful for, only if we pay attention, even to the things we consider little. Take your time to appreciate God for giving you the opportunity to witness a new year. Thank Him for having a purpose for your life and commit the journey into His hands.
Gratitude comes with a lot of effort, commitment, and discipline. A lot of you might be wondering why, but the truth is that many people invested effort and time into various things without seeing results. Some of them are too ungrateful to appreciate and accept small victories, while for others; God has decided it’s not the right time yet.
Some people are confused and worried that they don’t have enough time. Others are concerned that their time has passed. Yet, none of us is in charge of time, only God is. It is important, as the Bible emphasizes, that we give thanks at all times and in all situations.
In 2025, we will experience the gravity of gratitude, but it’s crucial that we play our part. God is ever ready to bless the works of our hands and give us platforms for testimonies and gratitude.
As we step into the New Year, it is important to make plans for some short-term and some long-term goals, while leveraging the experiences and results of the plans we made in 2024. Reflecting on the past year will help us set our priorities straight and ensure we don’t repeat the mistakes of 2024.
Avoid procrastination. Do the right things at the right time. Let’s do away with laziness and embrace hard work, smart work, and persistence. Most importantly, create time to rest, relax with loved ones, and make peace with those you fell out with, stay hydrated, read books, visit new places, learn new things, and ensure you have a wonderful year.
Finally, don’t forget to share this message and leave a comment. Sharing this with someone who needs it is an act of kindness.
May the New Year be fruitful and blessed!
