6 Foods You Can Cook In 10 Minutes

Warm greetings friends! How are you doing? Trust you are in good health and shape. This past week was so engaging. I had couple of programs and events to attend. And they were so great and interesting. Perhaps, I'll share some of the things I learned sometimes soon.

Today, I quickly want to share 5 foods that I believe you can cook under 10 mins. This comes at a time when there is a lot to do, and we may not have that luxury of time to cook. Nonetheless, we can still enjoy healthy food and save some money from buying food outside all the time.

Here are those 6 foods.

1. Oatmeal with Fruits

Let’s start with oatmeal. It’s super easy and straightforward. Just boil it for few minutes and it’s ready. What’s more? You can add milk and fruits such as banana, berries or dates. And if you like nuts too, you can also add as well. It’s super healthy and yummy.

2. Vegetable Salad with Chicken Breast

This is one of the foods that don’t give you much stress and it’s super healthy for the body. It can be prepared under 10 mins. Depending on your choice, you can add any vegetable you want inside the salad. Vegetables such as lettuce, cabbage, cucumber, carrot, bell pepper, tomatoes, green onions and so on, can all be put together to make your vegetable salad. Meanwhile, you can air fry your chicken breast or boil it, all under 10 minutes.

3. Mushroom Sauce with Spaghetti

Mushroom is one of my all-time favorite. It’s a super healthy food that many of us like to have in our diet. When you prepare your spaghetti, fry some sliced mushrooms and add cream, yogurt, seasonings and pepper into it. Cook for few minutes, and your mushroom sauce with spaghetti is ready. Yummy!

4. Boiled/Fried Plantain with Vegetable Stew

This is one food we don’t miss in our African home. Everyone knows plantain is a gamechanger when it’s prepared nice. Whether you want to boil it or fry it, the nutrients and taste will still come out great, and you will enjoy its goodness.

It has lots of iron and potassium, and several vitamins. When the boiled/fried plantain is ready, get your vegetable stew on one side, and you are about to enter 7th Heaven.

5. Fruits and Yogurt Smoothie

Smoothie is an easy-to-make food that is highly nutritious and healthy. You can combine different fruits as you wish. There are a lot of them – apple, banana, pineapple, berries, kiwi, oranges, watermelon, mango, grapes, and so on. Choose as many as you want, add some yogurt or milk, and blend them together. You are good to go. Enjoy!

6. Cauliflower Rice

Cauliflower rice is another healthy food because it’s lower in calories and high in fiber. It’s a good source of B vitamins, vitamins C and K and some minerals. It’s super easy to cook. Turn your cauliflower into grains inside a food processor or grate it.

Sauté in a frying pan and allow it to cook for 5 to 7mins. Stir it occasionally to allow the heat circulate and prevent burning. Then add seasonings, pepper and other vegetables as you desire. Now the food is ready. You are welcome!

Those are the 6 foods I believe you can cook under 10 minutes. I'm sure there are still many more that you can think of and prepare for yourself and your family.

I hope you will enjoy a healthy food and a healthy life. Have a great week ahead and God bless you!
