WALKING THROUGH FAITH: MY VACATION IN PHILIPPI, GREECE

Happy new month my dear friend, I pray that this month will be productive for us, may all the good things of this month be our portion, and may evil not come near us and our family. This week's message is coming late, because I've been looking for the best way to share my experience, I will be sharing some videos with today's message to give more clarity to the message I will be passing. I pray you are blessed by the message.

I recently traveled to Greece for a vacation, not just to relax, but to retrace the steps of Apostle Paul and experience the living history of his ministry. Importantly, I fellowshiped with brethren and participated in the celebration of the annual TOTAL WOMAN CONFERENCE. One of the most profound parts of this journey was our tour around the ancient city of Philippi. We explored the ruins of Basilica A and Basilica B, the remnants of the earliest churches, and the excavated city once buried by an earthquake. These stones may be old, but they still speak, their silence echoes the boldness of the early church and the unstoppable spread of Christianity.

We followed the very paths Paul took as he entered Philippi, where he met Lydia, one of the wealthiest women in the city. Her conversion marked a turning point, as her home became the first ecclesia (an assembly of believers). We stood at the ruins of the prison where Paul and Silas were jailed, simply for proclaiming the Gospel, unaware by the authorities that Paul was a Roman citizen. That moment of injustice turned into divine intervention, the prison shook, the doors opened, and a Roman guard who nearly took his life ended up surrendering it to Christ instead. His household, too, became a secret church, another chapter in the unfolding story of God’s greatness.

Beyond the spiritual pilgrimage, Greece offered natural beauty that left me in awe. Surrounded by majestic mountains and crystal-clear waters, and home to one of the highest numbers of islands in the world, the country is not just rich in history but in hospitality. The people were warm, the culture vibrant, and the atmosphere peaceful, a perfect backdrop for reflection and renewal.

This was more than a vacation, it was a rekindling of faith. Standing where Paul once stood reminded me that the God we serve is not bound by time. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. In the ruins, in the testimonies, and in the quiet whisper of the wind that moved through the ancient city. I witnessed the greatness of God. And today, I share this with you as a reminder: our faith is not in vain. Our God is truly alive.

Thanks for reading, do not forget to comment, and share with your family and friends. God bless you, see you next week.
