Do What You LOVE!

Many people would feel the same way Diane Warren did as a young girl. She was this kind of girl who didn’t want too many people around her but always loved to be alone, and so was misunderstood and somehow different from everyone around her. She lived with her parents in California. At a point, she ran away from home and later came back. She had passion for music and was always fond of writing songs that expressed her feelings and circumstances. She’s so creative and gifted with words. 

While her mother thought there was no way in what she was doing, her father encouraged her and raised her hope of becoming a great singer and songwriter in future. With that encouragement, she produced her songs and began to sell them. Her first song brought her to limelight, and she released other hit songs which featured other artists with biggest names in music. People like Celine Dion, Trisha Yearwood, Toni Braxton, and LeAnn Rimes. Her music career stepped up to the next level when her songs began to feature in hit films, resulting in six Oscar nominations and a Golden Globe award for “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me,” performed by Cher in the movie Burlesque. 

She now has a star on the celebrated Hollywood Walk of Fame and has been named Songwriter of the Year six times, among a host of other honors and awards. In all of these, Diane Warren didn’t forget her humble beginning, how she started and the challenges she faced. She used her fame and fortune to launch a foundation that supports music and would help the upcoming young artists who have talents but don’t know how to go about it. 

Her foundation also supports music programs in financially challenged schools and she helps sponsor contests for emerging songwriters. She did a special song for her father who encouraged her while nobody believed her. She titled the song “Because You Loved Me” and that song became one of her hit songs. Almost all of her songs became inspiration to many people and have generated great results in the lives of people.

They say life starts at 40, so I hope we all agree that I am now 22, with 62years experience. I am grateful to God that I have the opportunity to witness yet another year in the fullness of his grace, compassion of his mercy, and fulfillment of his promises. THE GRAVITY OF GRATITUDE

Hello, my dear reader, It gladdens my heart to know that we both made it through 2024, and here we are in a new year, despite all the challenges of last year. In 2024, I was able to share a lot with you, and I hope to share even more in 2025. However, it’s important that we reflect on 2024 and prepare ourselves for the experiences of this New Year.
