Children Are God's Heritage

Every parent wants to have good children. They want their children to turn out good and be a blessing to the world. They give them good education, home training, and legacy to as much as they can afford. But sometimes, parents face challenges with training their children. Some of the challenges could be financial, environmental, social or spiritual. 

However, parents are not happy when their children are not doing well and want to do everything to make sure they get them back on track. Sometimes the children could engage in wrong activities that could tarnish the image of the parents. In such situation, it has to be a more committed effort from the end of the parents, involving both physical and spiritual. Talk with them, pray with them, and if needed, consult a professional, like children psychologists or counselors. 

Though it’s always better to put your children on the right path early in life. So that it will be easier to put them back on track if they derailed. Notwithstanding, children are God’s heritage. And God cares so much about them, even more than we parents do. He’ll help us to train them and show them the right way. And this should also include our own responsibility of taking care of them and guiding them under the instructions of the Word of God. God bless you!

They say life starts at 40, so I hope we all agree that I am now 22, with 62years experience. I am grateful to God that I have the opportunity to witness yet another year in the fullness of his grace, compassion of his mercy, and fulfillment of his promises. Hello, my dear reader, It gladdens my heart to know that we both made it through 2024, and here we are in a new year, despite all the challenges of last year.
