THERE IS STILL TIME

Happy new month my dear friend. It’s so wonderful to share the first message of the month with you, especially considering the fact that the year is running to an end, and there’s still a lot of things waiting to be done. Time is a funny thing. Ask a landlord when next year's rent is due and he will tell you there is still plenty of time. Ask a tenant and one year suddenly feels like next week. Time is relative. It changes with our circumstances, our expectations, and our responsibilities. The same twenty four hours can feel too short for one person and too long for another. This is why we must be careful not to measure our lives by the clocks on the wall or the calendars in our hands, but by the opportunities that still lie before us.

Many people have convinced themselves that they are too late. Too late to return to school, too late to start a business, too late to learn a skill, too late to rebuild a broken relationship, too late to serve God, too late to become who they dreamed of becoming. But life is not measured merely by the number of years we have lived, it is measured by the breath that is still in our lungs. As long as you are alive, there is still an opportunity to make a difference. Every new day is another invitation to begin again.

There is still time to make that phone call. There is still time to apologize for the wrongs you have done. There is still time to forgive those who hurt you. There is still time to get that certificate, to write that book, to build that business, to reunite that family, to repay those acts of kindness you have never forgotten, and to leave an impact on the lives around you. Do not spend today's strength mourning yesterday's failures when today's opportunities are waiting for your response.

Yes, there is still time, but never forget that tomorrow is a promise no one has received. That is why the best time to act is today. A wise saying tells us that the best time to plant a tree was many years ago, and the second best time is today. Whatever you have been postponing, begin now. Take the first step while you still have breath, because every breath is proof that God has not finished with your story. There is still time, but the time is now.

Thanks for reading, do not forget to comment and share with your family and friends. I wish you a prosperous and productive August.
