STOP RUNNING FROM PURPOSE

Happy weekend, my dear friend. I'm so excited to write you today, especially on this topic. We all have that one goal we keep postponing. The one that stretches us, exposes us, demands discipline and faith. It is easier to chase small wins that make us look busy than to face the assignment that can truly change our lives. Many times, the goals we avoid are not impossible, they are just uncomfortable. And growth has never lived inside comfort.

In the Bible, Jonah ran from Nineveh not because he lacked ability, but because he feared the weight of the assignment. Moses doubted himself at the burning bush, even after God called him. Gideon saw himself as the least in his family, yet he was chosen to lead. The pattern is clear, destiny often arrives dressed as fear. What we avoid is sometimes the very proof of our calling.

We avoid certain goals because they demand sacrifice. They require us to let go of excuses, distractions, and sometimes even certain relationships. Jesus spoke about counting the cost before building a tower. Great goals will always cost something, time, pride, sleep, approval. But what is the cost of not building at all.

The truth is simple, the goal that makes you pray harder, think deeper, and doubt yourself more is usually the one tied to your purpose. David did not avoid Goliath, even when others did. If you keep running from that dream, it will keep calling you. Maybe it is not chasing you to stress you, maybe it is chasing you because it was sent for you, to make you become what is written of you.

Thanks for reading, do not forget to comment and share with your family and friends. I wish you a productive and prosperous week.
