The Fear of Death

Hello friends, welcome back. Trust this past week has been good for you. Sometimes, things don’t go the way we planned. But having the opportunity to witness life and make changes might be more important than those changes themselves. So, let’s relax, do what we can, and leave the rest to God.

Today, I want to conclude on the discussion I’ve been having on different types of fear. So, I will discuss today the fear of death.

The fear of death is a real one. First of all, let’s look at what death is and why we fear it? In a simple way, death is just one word – transition. Transition of what? Transition of our spirit from this side of life to the other side.

Life, as we know it, doesn’t end. But most people think when our body dies, it is we that die. But no! we don’t die. We only transit to the other side of eternity. And this is very important if we want to eliminate the fear of death.

Let’s talk for a moment about the fear of death. The fear of death is the fear that is associated with threats to life or living. It is being scared of everything surrounding death. The fear of death is one fear that everyone has naturally. Nobody wants to die, at least on a normal level. The fear is in every living creature to preserve life and avoid anything that can cause premature termination of it.

However, the fear can be sometimes on the high side. It can be so much that one is no longer having peace of mind. One becomes so obsessed and engrossed with the fear, that everything looks like threats or danger. Even normal events of life are no longer safe. One is always wary and excessively cautious of anything that looks like threats or attack to life.

The fear of death is one that could make someone do some negative things. Some people could go to herbalists to get life elongation. Some people join different occultic groups to preserve their life. Others do abhorrent things like using human blood and body parts to sacrifice for their own life. But all of these are not good. And God abhor them in every way.

The life that God has given us is precious. And even though, it is our responsibility to take care of that life and make sure we avoid anything that can bring threats to it. It is important we understand that death is nothing to fear.

There is no need to worry about where we are going or whether we are going to heaven or hell. The most important thing is to face our assignment here on earth. The life God has given us is more important than death. So, we must live that life to the fullest without the fear of death.

Live a life of purpose and let your mind and your life be occupied with things that you have to do here on earth. The fear of death will no longer matter for you, because by then you would have felt more satisfaction and joy in your spirit that you are fulfilling your purpose, and every other thing will become of no threat or worry for you.

Have a blessed week.
