7 Ways to Handle Stress

So, at this trying times, stress could be an issue that fazes us, making us feel weak and tired, going through life.

One thing we should do in such moments is to find ways to ease those stress and continue to live a peaceful life. Here are 7 ways to handle stress whenever we feel like we have any.

1. Take A Rest. When your body is stressed, the first thing to consider is rest. You need to rest. Take enough sleep. Sometimes you may need to avoid distractions, so put off or silent your phone and make sure you have a deep relaxing sleep.

This rejuvenates the body and makes the systems come back to work. We cannot overemphasize the benefits of sleep in managing stress and restoring body energy.

2. Take A Deep Breathe and Enjoy Fresh Air. If you can, get to where there’s fresh air and take a deep breath. It refreshes your body tissues and relaxes your muscles. It also releases waste gases out of your body and refills you with fresh air and energy.

3. Take A Walk. You can stretch your body. You can take a warm or cold shower as you wish. You can also take a massage or go for your favorite sport. Whatever would make you stretch your body and exercise those muscles, go for it.

4. Connect With Supportive People. Find people you trust or of like minds and connect with them. Don’t go through your stress alone, relate with people of great minds. Life is enjoyed when we live and connect with others.

Remember, God made solitary in families so that we can enjoy our relationships and companionships. Connect with people.

5. Share Your Problem. This is another important point to deal with stress. When you go through stress, sometimes it could be because of the problems you are going through.

So, one of the best ways to handle stress is to share the problems.

Don’t keep them in your closet. Share them with people. Because they say problem shared is half solved. When you don’t tell people what you go through, they won’t know how to help you. Sometimes people want to help but they don’t know how to.

So, please when you are going through difficulties and it’s overwhelming for you, share it with people and let them be aware. Whoever will help will help. And I believe God will raise people who would come to your help whenever you need.

6. Have Some Moments of Singing and Praying. This is a good therapy for me. When I’m stressed or going through certain moments, I love to sing. I sing from my soul and always feel God’s presence. I also love to listen to inspiring musics. I love thanksgiving songs and hymns.

I love to pray.

We know prayer is a sweet communication between us and our Heavenly Father, and it would always be such a great moment to have a fellowship with our father and relate with him our thoughts, knowing fully well he cares for us and has the best for us.

He said he knows the thoughts that he has toward us. They are thoughts of good, and not of evil to give us a hope and a future. I thank God for this great love and the goodness he has bestowed upon us his children.

So, praying during stress times is a good way to put it under control and also find solution to whatever is causing it.

7. Take Things Easy. One of the ways to handle stress is to take things easy. Nothing is too big for God to take care. All mountains before you would become plain and happiness will be yours. One of the great things you’ll find in God’s word is comforting words that would bring peace and faith into your heart.

And this is to give you an attitude of rest. That, in the midst of storm, you can take a rest in your spirit and take things easy. Nothing is beyond control. God has put everything under your feet, and he would surely make you overcome all trials and temptations.

So, relax and see the salvation of the Lord. God is making all things work together for you and whatever you are going through now will all end in testimony. I celebrate you in Jesus Name. Stay blessed.
