TRUSTING GOD WITH EVERYTHING

 

Hello, my dear friend, 

I feel it's a good time to talk to you now that the holidays are over, and we are all getting back to our daily lives. It's important to take cognizance of some things that can help us live our best in this new year. Today, I will be speaking on "Trusting God with Everything."

Many of us have reflected on the past years and observed that we lived each year with almost the same attitude and approach. We couldn't dare to take some steps, we procrastinated, we were afraid, and at some points, we doubted. All these happened because we didn’t believe enough. We didn’t take the steps that might have been the turning point we’ve been praying for. 

We put in a lot of effort to succeed, while witnessing the success of people who didn’t do a quarter of what we did. Then, we begin to question God and grow the feeling that God isn't listening to us, not realizing that our insufficiencies are often due to our inability to take efficient steps. 

I know you have an idea of what you haven’t been doing right. You also know those challenges you believe are too much for you. Sometimes, it takes just a little faith to change our fate. The bigger the problem, the greater the opportunity to conquer it. Just like in the story of David and Goliath, when everyone was scared of the Philistine, they felt he was too big to challenge. But David saw him as too big to miss. He trusted God and saw Goliath fall with just a stone. 

This year, you’ll need to take up those challenges, put in the effort, and trust God. He is ready to bless the work of your hands. It all begins with trusting that there’s no mountain too big for God to move. 

In conclusion, the most important thing to start this year with is faith in God: faith that everything we lay our hands upon this year shall yield positively, that nothing shall bring us down, and that goodness will abound for us and our loved ones. Take your time this year to explore opportunities. Don’t feel too inferior to accept them. Believe you can do all things through God’s strength. Learn, act, and trust in God. God will give us victory.
